Started as a duo by Helsinki-based I.S and S.P in late 2014, Protostar recorded their first release (I: One With the Void) as a side project during a guitar recording session for a different band. Being satisfied with the material, they decided to call in an actual drummer, A.K, and in early 2015 the (now) trio recorded another release (II: Last Small Step for Man).
